WeekPrint Privacy Policy

WeekPrint is designed around a simple principle:
Your personal schedule should remain yours.
WeekPrint follows a local-first architecture. Wherever reasonably possible, calendar processing, schedule analysis, workload calculations, personalization and recommendations are performed directly on your device.
WeekPrint does not maintain a server-side copy of your complete system calendar.
When some information must leave your device to provide a feature — for example, flight tracking, weather, push notifications, synchronization or optional product analytics — WeekPrint is designed to transmit only the information reasonably necessary for that specific purpose.
This Privacy Policy explains what information WeekPrint accesses or processes, what information may leave your device, why it is used, which service providers may process it, how long it is retained, and what choices you have.

1. Who this Privacy Policy applies to
This Privacy Policy applies to WeekPrint applications and related services, including:
WeekPrint for iPhone and iPad, WeekPrint for Apple Watch, WeekPrint widgets and complications, Live Activities, flight-tracking services, WeekPrint Apple Wallet flight passes, synchronization services, WeekPrint backend services and other WeekPrint functionality that refers to this Privacy Policy.
In this Privacy Policy, “WeekPrint,” “we,” “our” and “us” refer to the operator of the WeekPrint service.
Third-party services that you independently connect to WeekPrint, such as a calendar provider, may have their own privacy policies and terms.
2. Privacy principles
WeekPrint is built around the following principles.
Local-first processing. Personal schedule information should remain on your device whenever possible.
Data minimization. WeekPrint should process only the information required for a specific feature.
Purpose limitation. Information collected for one purpose should not be reused for an unrelated purpose.
No advertising profile. WeekPrint does not build advertising profiles from your calendar, travel activity, location or product usage.
No sale of personal information. WeekPrint does not sell personal information.
No cross-app tracking. WeekPrint does not use your information to track you across apps or websites owned by other companies for advertising or advertising measurement.
No calendar data in product analytics. WeekPrint’s analytics provider does not receive calendar contents, flight details, location or direct account identity.
User control. Optional permissions and product analytics can be declined or disabled without preventing access to unrelated WeekPrint features.
3. Calendar information3.1 System Calendar
If you grant WeekPrint access to your calendars, WeekPrint may access calendar information through Apple system frameworks such as EventKit.
Depending on your calendars and events, this may include event titles, dates and times, recurrence information, locations, notes, URLs, conference links, calendar information, event identifiers and related event metadata.
WeekPrint uses this information to provide features such as calendar views, schedule organization, event editing, workload analysis, travel context, conference-link detection, recommendations and other schedule-related functionality.
Your complete calendar is not uploaded to WeekPrint servers.
The system calendar remains the source of truth.
WeekPrint does not maintain a server-side mirror of your complete EventKit calendar.
Calendar contents are not sent to Amplitude for product analytics.
In particular, WeekPrint product analytics must not receive event titles, event notes, attendees, organizers, calendar names, event identifiers, calendar identifiers, conference links or event locations.
4. Calendar-derived information stored by WeekPrint
WeekPrint may generate and store limited metadata derived from your schedule.
This may include information such as event classifications, workload bands or scores, scheduling relationships, travel relationships, recommendation state, learned preferences, goals, personalization profiles and other WeekPrint-generated information.
This information is generally stored on your device using Apple platform storage technologies.
WeekPrint may also use App Groups to make minimized information available to its widgets, Apple Watch application, complications and Live Activities.
WeekPrint does not use these mechanisms to create another complete copy of your calendar.
5. CalDAV calendars
If you choose to connect a CalDAV account, WeekPrint may communicate with the calendar provider you select.
Depending on the provider and configuration, this processing may include your CalDAV server address, authentication information and calendar data required to synchronize the calendars you requested.
Sensitive CalDAV credentials are stored using Apple’s secure credential-storage facilities such as Keychain where supported.
WeekPrint does not send your CalDAV credentials to Amplitude.
Your selected CalDAV provider independently processes calendar information according to its own privacy policy, terms and security practices.
You can disconnect a CalDAV account from WeekPrint at any time.
6. WeekPrint account and Sign in with Apple
WeekPrint may allow you to create or access an account using Sign in with Apple.
Depending on the choices you make when signing in, WeekPrint may receive information including an Apple-generated account identifier, your name, your email address or an Apple Private Relay email address.
This information is used only for purposes such as authentication, account management, synchronization and delivery of WeekPrint functionality.
If you choose Apple’s Hide My Email feature, WeekPrint uses the relay address supplied by Apple and does not require your underlying personal email address where Apple permits the relay address to be used.
WeekPrint account identity is not used as Amplitude analytics identity.
WeekPrint does not send your name, email address, Apple Sign in identifier or WeekPrint account identifier to Amplitude.
WeekPrint does not set an Amplitude userId based on your WeekPrint account.
7. iCloud and CloudKit
WeekPrint may use Apple iCloud or CloudKit for supported synchronization features.
Depending on the feature, synchronized WeekPrint-owned information may include settings, preferences, profile information, goals, app-generated metadata, learned preferences and other information necessary to provide synchronization.
WeekPrint does not use CloudKit to create a complete server-side mirror of your system calendar.
Information processed by Apple through iCloud and CloudKit is also subject to Apple’s privacy and security practices.
8. Location information
Some WeekPrint features may request access to your device location.
For example, location may be useful for weather, travel context or other location-dependent functionality.
Location permission is optional.
WeekPrint does not use continuous background location tracking for product analytics.
Depending on the feature and the permission you provide, WeekPrint may process precise geographic coordinates, approximate location, airport information, city information or another location representation necessary to provide the requested feature.
Where a weather request requires location information, the minimum information necessary to retrieve the forecast may be transmitted to a weather service.
Location is not sent to Amplitude.
WeekPrint does not intentionally provide Amplitude with GPS coordinates, precise location, city derived from GPS or another WeekPrint location value.
WeekPrint also configures Amplitude so that IP-address-based geographic enrichment is disabled.
You can revoke WeekPrint’s system location permission at any time through Apple device settings.
9. Weather
WeekPrint may use a weather-data provider, including WeatherAPI or another configured provider, to provide forecasts relevant to your schedule or travel.
Depending on the circumstances, the weather request may use geographic coordinates, an airport, a city or approximate network-derived information necessary to determine weather conditions.
WeekPrint attempts to provide the minimum location context required for the weather request.
WeekPrint does not send your complete calendar to the weather provider.
Calendar titles, event notes, attendees and unrelated calendar contents are not required to obtain a weather forecast.
Weather responses may be cached temporarily on your device to reduce unnecessary requests and improve performance.
10. Flight search and flight tracking
When you search for a flight or explicitly choose to track one, WeekPrint may send limited flight-related information to the WeekPrint Flight Backend.
This may include information such as the flight number, flight date, route information, airport information, canonical flight identifier and information required to determine the current operational status of the flight.
WeekPrint may use a third-party flight-data provider, including AeroDataBox, to obtain schedules, delays, gate information, operational status and other flight-related information.
Calendar contents are not sent to the Flight Backend.
WeekPrint does not send the following calendar information to the Flight Backend for flight tracking:
event titles, calendar notes, attendees, organizers or EventKit event identifiers.
If WeekPrint detects something that resembles a flight number inside a calendar event, detection may be performed to provide a suggestion.
Detection alone does not automatically subscribe you to server-side flight tracking.
Flight tracking begins only after the relevant user action or confirmation required by the WeekPrint interface.
11. Push notifications
If you enable notifications, WeekPrint may process technical information necessary to deliver them.
This may include an Apple Push Notification service token, a WeekPrint installation identifier, a tracked-flight identifier and information necessary to determine whether a notification should be generated.
These identifiers are used only to deliver or manage WeekPrint functionality.
Examples may include flight-status changes, gate changes, travel alerts, schedule-related alerts and other notifications you explicitly enable.
Push notification tokens are not provided to Amplitude as analytics identifiers.
WeekPrint does not use notification tokens for advertising or cross-app tracking.
You can disable notifications at any time through Apple device settings.
12. Live Activities
If you use a WeekPrint Live Activity, WeekPrint may process the Live Activity push token and information required to start, update or end the Live Activity.
This processing may occur through Apple Push Notification service and the WeekPrint backend.
Live Activity tokens are used only for the corresponding WeekPrint functionality.
WeekPrint does not provide Live Activity push tokens to Amplitude.
13. Apple Wallet flight passes
WeekPrint may allow you to generate an Apple Wallet pass associated with a tracked flight.
A WeekPrint flight pass is a flight-tracking convenience feature.
It is not a boarding pass and is not a credential valid for boarding an aircraft.
WeekPrint may process flight information, pass identifiers, Wallet registration information, cryptographic authentication tokens and other information necessary to create and update a pass.
If you voluntarily add passenger-related information to a supported Wallet feature, WeekPrint processes only the information necessary to provide that feature.
Passenger names, seats, booking references, Wallet authentication tokens and pass contents are not sent to Amplitude for product analytics.
WeekPrint uses security controls appropriate to the Wallet service, including cryptographically generated authentication tokens and encryption of sensitive server-side information where applicable.
14. Personalization, recommendations and WeekPrint Intelligence
WeekPrint may analyze information available on your device to provide functionality such as workload analysis, schedule pressure, event classification, timing recommendations, travel impact, suggested actions, goals and personalized scheduling insights.
WeekPrint is designed to perform this analysis locally whenever reasonably possible.
The system is designed to minimize private text and identifiers before information is used by personalization components.
Generated recommendations do not independently modify your calendar.
Creating, editing, moving or deleting calendar information requires an explicit user action through the appropriate WeekPrint functionality.
WeekPrint does not send AI prompts, AI responses, recommendation text or raw calendar context to Amplitude.
If a future WeekPrint feature requires transmitting personal calendar content to a new external AI provider, WeekPrint will update this Privacy Policy and obtain additional consent where required before enabling that processing.
15. Product analytics
WeekPrint may use Amplitude to understand how people use WeekPrint and to improve the product.
Product analytics is optional.
WeekPrint does not enable Amplitude analytics until you explicitly choose to share product analytics.
Before you provide analytics consent, WeekPrint does not intentionally queue product analytics for later transmission to Amplitude.
If you decline analytics, WeekPrint remains usable.
You can change your choice at any time through:
Settings → Privacy → Share Product Analytics
Turning analytics off stops WeekPrint from intentionally recording or sending new Amplitude product-analytics events.
Information already transmitted before you withdrew consent may remain until it reaches the applicable retention period or is deleted pursuant to an applicable privacy request.
16. What WeekPrint may send to Amplitude
When product analytics is enabled, WeekPrint sends deliberately minimized product-usage information.
The information may include:

Where possible, WeekPrint uses broad categories instead of exact values.
For example, WeekPrint may record that a tracked flight is within a broad time-to-departure category instead of sending the exact departure timestamp.
WeekPrint may record that workload is “low,” “moderate” or “high” instead of sending the private events that produced that workload.
17. What WeekPrint does not send to Amplitude
WeekPrint’s product analytics is specifically designed not to reconstruct the user’s personal schedule or travel history.
Amplitude does not intentionally receive through WeekPrint analytics:

WeekPrint does not hash these values and then send the hashes to Amplitude as a substitute.
They are excluded from the analytics data model.
18. Amplitude identity and pseudonymous identifiers
WeekPrint does not identify you to Amplitude using your WeekPrint account.
WeekPrint does not intentionally send your name, email address, Apple account identifier or WeekPrint account ID as Amplitude’s userId.
Amplitude may use a randomly generated or SDK-generated pseudonymous device identifier to distinguish analytics activity originating from an installation.
For this reason, WeekPrint describes this analytics as pseudonymous, not necessarily fully anonymous under every applicable privacy law.
The analytics identifier is used for product measurement rather than advertising or identification of the individual behind the WeekPrint account.
WeekPrint deliberately accepts reduced cross-device analytics accuracy in order to avoid linking Amplitude analytics directly to your WeekPrint identity.
19. Amplitude configuration
WeekPrint configures Amplitude as a privacy-minimized analytics service.
WeekPrint’s intended production configuration includes:
EU data region. WeekPrint uses an Amplitude project configured for European Union data residency.
No automatic capture. Amplitude automatic session tracking, automatic screen tracking, lifecycle tracking, interaction capture and network autocapture are disabled.
No Session Replay. WeekPrint does not use Amplitude Session Replay.
No advertising identifiers. WeekPrint does not use IDFA for Amplitude and does not request App Tracking Transparency permission for product analytics.
IDFV disabled. WeekPrint does not intentionally use IDFV for Amplitude analytics.
IP analytics disabled. WeekPrint configures the Amplitude SDK so that the IP address is not used as an analytics property or for Amplitude location enrichment.
Geographic enrichment disabled. City, region, country and DMA analytics collection is disabled.
No direct account identity. WeekPrint does not assign your WeekPrint account identifier as Amplitude userId.
No remotely enabled autocapture. WeekPrint disables Amplitude remote configuration that could enable automatic capture without a WeekPrint application update.
WeekPrint controls which events and properties are sent through a WeekPrint-owned analytics layer and predefined event schema.
20. Amplitude and advertising tracking
WeekPrint uses Amplitude exclusively for first-party product analytics.
Amplitude analytics is not used by WeekPrint to track you across apps or websites owned by other companies.
WeekPrint does not use Amplitude analytics for third-party targeted advertising.
WeekPrint does not provide Amplitude analytics data to advertising networks for behavioral advertising.
WeekPrint does not sell Amplitude analytics data.
WeekPrint therefore does not request App Tracking Transparency authorization solely for the WeekPrint product-analytics implementation described in this Privacy Policy.
21. Other technical information
When WeekPrint communicates with servers, normal internet communications may involve technical information required to establish and protect the connection.
Depending on the service, this may include request timestamps, network information, request status, server error information and security-related metadata.
WeekPrint may process limited server logs where necessary to provide the service, prevent abuse, investigate failures, secure infrastructure and comply with legal obligations.
Server logs are not intended to contain complete calendar contents.
WeekPrint does not intentionally use operational server logs to build advertising or behavioral profiles.
22. Information stored on your device
WeekPrint may store information locally using Apple platform technologies including SwiftData, UserDefaults, App Groups and Keychain.
Depending on the features you use, locally stored information may include settings, preferences, goals, tracked trips and flights, event classifications, workload information, weather cache, recommendations, feedback, personalization profiles, tasks, synchronization state and other WeekPrint-generated metadata.
Deleting WeekPrint from your device normally removes application-local storage controlled by the app, subject to Apple platform behavior and information separately stored in services such as iCloud.
Information stored by other providers, including your system calendar or an external CalDAV provider, is not automatically deleted merely because you uninstall WeekPrint.
23. Third-party service providers
WeekPrint uses a limited number of third-party services to provide specific functionality.

WeekPrint requires providers that process personal information on its behalf to process it for the relevant service purpose and to provide appropriate privacy and security protections.
Third-party providers may also process information as independent controllers where their own products, legal obligations or platform relationships require it.
24. No sale of personal information
WeekPrint does not sell your personal information.
WeekPrint does not sell calendar information.
WeekPrint does not sell location information.
WeekPrint does not sell travel information.
WeekPrint does not sell product analytics.
WeekPrint does not share personal information with data brokers for monetary consideration or behavioral advertising.
25. No third-party targeted advertising
WeekPrint does not use your calendar, travel behavior, location or Amplitude product analytics to serve targeted advertising from third parties.
WeekPrint does not combine its product analytics with third-party advertising profiles.
WeekPrint does not intentionally disclose WeekPrint analytics identifiers to advertising networks for cross-app tracking.
26. Legal bases for processing
Where the General Data Protection Regulation, United Kingdom GDPR or a similar law applies, WeekPrint relies on different legal bases depending on the processing.
Providing requested services
Information may be processed where necessary to provide WeekPrint functionality you request, including account access, calendar features, synchronization, weather, flight tracking, Wallet functionality and notifications.
Consent
WeekPrint relies on your consent for optional processing where required.
This includes optional product analytics under the privacy model described in this policy.
System permissions such as Calendar, Location and Notifications are also controlled through Apple permission mechanisms.
Legitimate interests
Limited processing may be necessary for legitimate interests such as protecting WeekPrint infrastructure, preventing fraud or abuse, diagnosing failures and maintaining service security and reliability, where those interests are not overridden by applicable privacy rights.
Legal obligations
WeekPrint may process or preserve limited information where required by applicable law, a valid court order or another binding legal requirement.
27. Data retention
WeekPrint applies different retention periods depending on the information and purpose.

WeekPrint may delete or anonymize information earlier when it is no longer necessary.
Information required for legal compliance, security investigations or dispute resolution may be retained for longer where legally justified.
28. Analytics consent
Product analytics is optional.
When your analytics preference is:
Not decided: WeekPrint does not intentionally send Amplitude product analytics.
Disabled: WeekPrint does not intentionally send Amplitude product analytics.
Enabled: WeekPrint may send the minimized product analytics described in this Privacy Policy.
WeekPrint does not create a historical pre-consent analytics queue for later upload after you opt in.
You can withdraw analytics consent at any time through:
Settings → Privacy → Share Product Analytics
Withdrawal applies to future analytics processing.
It does not retroactively make processing that occurred while consent was valid unlawful.
29. Calendar, Location and Notification permissions
Apple controls system permissions such as Calendar, Location and Notifications.
You can change them at any time in your device settings.
Revoking a permission may prevent WeekPrint from providing the specific feature requiring that permission.
For example, revoking calendar access prevents WeekPrint from accessing your calendar but does not require you to enable product analytics.
Analytics consent is separate from Calendar, Location and Notification permissions.
You are not required to enable analytics in order to grant another system permission.
30. Account deletion
If you create a WeekPrint account, you can initiate account deletion from within WeekPrint through:
Settings → Account → Delete Account
Deleting your WeekPrint account removes or anonymizes account-associated personal information controlled by WeekPrint unless limited retention is required for legal, security, fraud-prevention or dispute-resolution purposes.
Where Sign in with Apple is used, WeekPrint will perform the account-deletion and authorization-revocation actions required for the implemented Sign in with Apple account flow.
Deleting the WeekPrint account does not automatically delete information controlled independently by Apple, your calendar provider or another third-party provider.
Deleting your WeekPrint account also does not automatically cancel an App Store subscription.
Subscriptions must be managed through your Apple Account subscription settings.
31. Analytics data and account deletion
WeekPrint deliberately does not link Amplitude analytics to your WeekPrint account identifier.
As a result, deleting your WeekPrint account does not rely on an account-to-Amplitude identity mapping.
WeekPrint will stop future analytics when analytics sharing is disabled.
Where applicable law gives you a right to request deletion of previously collected analytics, WeekPrint will use reasonably available pseudonymous identifiers and Amplitude’s available privacy controls to process a verifiable request where technically possible.
Because WeekPrint intentionally avoids linking analytics data to your name or email address, your name or email alone may not be sufficient to identify a specific pseudonymous analytics record.
This limitation is a consequence of WeekPrint’s decision not to create a direct account-to-analytics identity link.
32. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning personal information processed by WeekPrint.
These may include the right to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability or information about processing.
You may also have the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
Where applicable, you may lodge a complaint with a data-protection authority.

WeekPrint may request information reasonably necessary to verify the request while avoiding the collection of unnecessary sensitive information.
33. International data processing
WeekPrint and its service providers may operate in different countries.
For optional Amplitude product analytics, WeekPrint uses an Amplitude environment configured for European Union data residency.
Other providers, including Apple, flight-data providers, weather providers and infrastructure providers, may process information in other jurisdictions depending on their service infrastructure.
Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers of personal information, WeekPrint will use appropriate contractual, organizational or technical measures.
34. Security
WeekPrint uses technical and organizational measures intended to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or loss.
Depending on the feature, these measures include HTTPS-encrypted network communication, Apple’s Keychain for credentials, keeping production service credentials out of the client application, access controls, data minimization, purpose-specific backend interfaces, cryptographically secure authentication tokens and encryption of certain sensitive server-side information at rest.
WeekPrint also separates private domain information from product analytics through a dedicated analytics schema and privacy-validation architecture.
No electronic system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
WeekPrint therefore attempts to minimize both the amount and sensitivity of information that must leave your device.
35. Children
WeekPrint is a productivity, calendar and travel application and is not specifically directed to children.
WeekPrint does not knowingly use calendar, location or analytics information to profile children for advertising.
Where applicable law requires parental or guardian consent for a child to provide personal information, WeekPrint should be used in accordance with those requirements.

36. Legal requests
WeekPrint may preserve or disclose information where reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, a binding legal process, court order or other valid legal obligation.
Where legally permitted, WeekPrint will seek to limit any disclosure to information reasonably necessary for the request.
Because WeekPrint does not maintain a complete server-side copy of your system calendar, WeekPrint cannot disclose calendar information that it does not possess.
37. Changes to this Privacy Policy
WeekPrint may update this Privacy Policy when the product, technology, service providers or legal obligations change.
The current version will be available through the WeekPrint website and from within the WeekPrint application.
The effective date at the top of the policy identifies the current version.
If a future change materially expands the collection or use of personal information, WeekPrint will provide additional notice or obtain new consent where required before applying the new processing.
In particular, WeekPrint will update this policy before introducing materially different analytics, advertising, Session Replay, cross-app tracking or external processing of private calendar content.

Do not send unnecessary calendar contents, passwords, authentication credentials, booking information or other sensitive information by email.
